Tool Tote

This is modeled on the tool tote Roy Underhill carries in the opening scenes of The Woodwright's Shop. (Roy's tool tote is actually a bit longer and only one side is splayed out. I limited the size of this tote so that I could create it from one 8' pine board I purchased a box store.) The tote has dovetailed sides and a through mortise on the bottom of the center divider to hold the bottom in place. The 30° splayed sides create compound angles where the four sides meet. Laying out the dovetails is a bit of trick, but quite interesting when you get the hang of it. I used this small project as practice for creating a seachest with 4 sloping sides.
